Document Translation
Albors & Alnet, LLC analyzes the requirements and content of the material that to be translated, and by means of a project manager, all stages of the translation process are accomplished. This translation workflow requires a heightened level of linguistic expertise in both the source language and target language, as dialect and cultural competency can affect the meaning of a transaction.
Here is a breakdown of the protocol our team follows for every document translation project.
Fast and Accurate Delivery
We only contract native-speaking translators to work on each project. Your project manager is your point-of-contact, who locates an available translator to assign to your project. From there, your project manager will review our 3-Step Language Translation Process, while updating the linguists with your requests.
Language Translation Process
-
Project Planning
Upon document submission, a project manager assesses the document to determine the original source language, word count, and page count. Next, he/she reviews the client’s target language request to determine an estimated cost and timeline for completion. When the client determines the project specifications to be satisfactory, the project manager locates and assigns a qualified translator to the project.

Translation
After the details of the project are put in motion, the document(s) are sent to the translator. Any additional information about the documents or the client’s vision for the final product is relayed during this phase. During the language translation process, the contracted translator translates the text to the target language while paying close attention to:
· Accurate transfer of content · Omissions/additions · Appropriate terminology · Appropriate register · Collocation · Tautology · Consistency · Grammar · Syntax · Tense Usage · Spelling & Punctuation · Layout & Presentation -
Proofreading and Editing
When translation is complete, the next step is to proofread and edit the translated material. During this phase, another linguist proofreads the translation for accuracy, context, and meaning. Design and copy edits such as grammar and punctuation are completed during this stage.
