Interpreters Unlimited has a network of over 8000 interpreters all across America to provide simultaneous translation and interpretation services both in-person or over the phone for courtrooms, medical appointments, conferences and more. Since 1970 we have been providing in-person interpreters to a wide range of clientele across the nation including ASL interpretation to President Barack Obama. In-person interpretation is the cornerstone of language disciplines and relies on speed and accuracy to ensure precision and understanding in communication. IU has trained, qualified and certified interpreters to provide our clients with both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services in every industry including pharmaceuticals and legal settings. Our interpreters are familiar with the cultures of their trained languages, creating a relaxed and culturally sensitive interpretation for all parties involved. At IU, we believe that having high quality language interpreters begins with hiring the right people. We have a thorough screening and training process that all new interpreters undergo to ensure that they are capable of providing the highest quality interpretation service. The Interpreters Unlimited network includes Sign Language interpreters that are certified by Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and other national certifying organizations. IU interpreters are not only proficient in both languages being interpreted; they also possess dialect and subject matter knowledge needed to ensure an accurate interpretation. We have experience in providing interpretation services in all types of scenarios and settings including:
  • ┬áConferences & Seminars
  • Depositions, Trials & Hearings
  • Client Meetings
  • Arbitrations
  • Medical Appointments
  • Employee Interviews
  • Recorded Statements
  • Employee Training
  • Religious Functions

Interpreters Unlimited offers both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services. In consecutive interpretation the speaker talks while the interpreter listens. The speaker then pauses while the interpreter delivers the interpretation in blocks of words or sentences. In simultaneous interpretation the linguist interprets while the speaker is talking which differs from consecutive interpretation because there are no long pauses in the flow of conversation. Oftentimes a simultaneous interpreter will sit in a sound-proof booth to interpret in real-time while listeners are wearing headphones. Each type of interpretation requires a highly trained and qualified interpreter. IU has thousands of interpreters nationwide that specialize in consecutive interpretation, simultaneous interpretation or both.
