We provide simultaneous translation and interpretation services for courtrooms, medical appointments, conferences, interviews, depositions and more. In-person interpretation is the cornerstone of language disciplines and relies on speed and accuracy to ensure precision and understanding in communication. We contract qualified interpreters to provide our clients with both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services in 200 foreign languages and American Sign Language (ASL).  Our contracted interpreters are familiar with the cultures of their language specialty and create a relaxed and culturally sensitive environment, for all parties involved.

Consecutive vs Simultaneous Interpretation

In consecutive interpretation, the speaker speaks while the interpreter listens. The speaker then pauses while the interpreter delivers the interpretation in blocks of words or sentences. In simultaneous interpretation, the linguist interprets while the speaker is talking; which differs from consecutive interpretation because there are no pauses in the flow of conversation. Oftentimes a simultaneous interpreter will sit in a sound-proof booth to interpret in real-time while listeners are wearing headphones.
